Privacy Policy

PopHaus Buffalo operates pophaus-buffalo.com. If you have questions about this policy or want to make a privacy request, email hello@pophaus-buffalo.com.

Depending on what you do on the site, we may collect:

• Your name, email address and phone number when you build a quote or book.
• The event address, date, start and end time, event type and approximate guest count.
• Setup and site-access details, such as confirmation of the setup area, overhead clearance, power and access, plus any notes you add.
• The rental options you select and any custom requests, such as a DJ, bartender, custom vinyl sign or custom décor.
• Your first name and email address if you join the Guest List.
• Anything else you choose to send us, such as messages, emails or phone calls.

Not every field applies to every visitor. For example, joining the Guest List only asks for your first name and email. Your quote progress is also saved in your own browser so you don't lose it if you leave the page.

Deposits and balances are paid on Stripe's secure checkout. Stripe collects your card details directly. We receive payment status, amounts and the transaction records needed to manage your booking, but we never receive or store your full card number.

If you choose to join the Guest List, we may send you promotional emails and booking offers, including your one-time Guest List discount. Joining is optional and is not required to book.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any marketing email or by emailing hello@pophaus-buffalo.com. Even if you unsubscribe, we'll still send emails needed for a booking, such as confirmations, payment receipts, reminders and scheduling updates.

We use these analytics and advertising tools on the site:

• Google Analytics 4, to understand how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed and buttons clicked.
• The Meta Pixel, which records page views and a few site actions: viewing the quote page, checking a date's availability, joining the Guest List, submitting a quote request and starting checkout.
• Our hosting provider, which records basic visit statistics.

These services use cookies or similar browser identifiers. They may receive general technical information such as page activity, browser and device type, the page that referred you, and an approximate location based on your IP address. We don't send your name, email address, phone number, address, discount code, booking reference or event date to Google Analytics or through the Meta Pixel.

We use the Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API to understand whether our ads lead to quote activity and confirmed bookings.

After Stripe confirms a booking deposit has been paid, our server may send Meta:

• A Purchase event
• The deposit amount actually paid
• The currency
• General labels such as "PopHaus Deposit" and "Booking"
• A one-way SHA-256 hashed version of your email address

Before sending, we remove extra spaces from your email, convert it to lowercase and hash it. Your plain email address is never included in this request or written to our Meta-related logs. A hashed email is not anonymous: Meta may use it to match the event to a Meta account for advertising measurement and attribution, under Meta's own terms and privacy practices.

This Purchase event does not include your event date, event address, phone number, booking reference, discount code, payment identifiers, custom selections or booking notes.

We do not sell personal information for money. We do share information with the analytics and advertising services described here.

• Checking availability, and creating quotes and bookings
• Processing deposits and remaining balances
• Delivering, setting up and managing your rental
• Sending confirmations, reminders and other booking communications
• Responding to custom-item requests
• Managing our private scheduling calendar
• Preventing fraud and protecting the site
• Keeping business, tax and accounting records
• Understanding how the site performs
• Measuring our advertising
• Sending marketing emails if you've joined the Guest List

We use these providers to run the business:

• Stripe, for payment processing
• Google Analytics, for website analytics
• Meta, for advertising measurement
• Google Calendar, for our private operations calendar, which includes booking details our crew needs
• Lovable, for website hosting, our database and sending emails

Each provider receives only the information it needs for its job, under its own terms and privacy practices. We may also share information with professional advisers, or when reasonably required by law or a government request. Booking information is not publicly visible.

• Booking and transaction records are kept as long as needed to provide our services and to meet accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, dispute and legal obligations.
• Guest List information is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. We may keep a limited record so we can keep honoring your opt-out.
• Analytics and advertising data are kept according to our settings and each provider's own retention practices.
• We may delete or de-identify information once it's no longer reasonably needed.

You can email hello@pophaus-buffalo.com to ask to see, correct or delete your information. We may need to verify your identity first. We may keep some records where required or permitted for transactions, accounting, safety, fraud prevention or legal reasons. We will honor the rights you have under applicable law.

• Marketing emails: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or contact us.
• Cookies: most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings.
• Google Analytics: you can use Google's opt-out browser add-on.
• Meta ads: you can manage how Meta uses information for ads in your Meta ad preferences.

Bookings must be made by an adult. The website is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Children are welcome at events booked by an adult.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information. No website or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

We may update this policy as our services or practices change. When we make material changes, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page.
